I just got a complete upper to start my 1st "project".  The barrel etc. seems to have alot of oil on it from the manufacturer.  What's good to use to clean this all off?

"GunScubber" type products work well to rinse off all manufacturing coating/oils. Lube with your favorite oil afterwards.

My favorite is CRC QD Electronic Spray. It evaporated super-fast, leave no residue, and will not harm ANY plastics/polymers. 11oz's for $3.49 @ a local department/hardware store (Spag's)
