Is there one specifically for .223/5.56?  The guy at the store told me .22 would work just fine and that they didn't make one for .223.

I got the one marked for .22 cal. I could not locate one specifically for .223. Mine works great.

   I have one marked for a .22 rifle and it works fine.  

    Somewhere (here?) I read not to get the  the .22 pistol model, presumably because of the shorter rope.
