I was cleaning my gun last night and attempted to push the chamber brush into the chamber using one of the flex cables that comes with the Otis kits and I couldn't even come close to getting that brush into the chamber.  Any advice?  Do I need a real metal rod to attach to the chamber brush?

Thanks!

Put some Viagra on that cable. You need a solid rod to use.

Well damn!  As if I haven't spent enough money already...  Oh well...time for a real chamber rod.

Thanks!

Actually, Joe, I really like the Otis kit.  I just don't think that one can clean an AR chamber with a flex rod after trying it.  I'm still keeping the Otis kit because I find it useful but I'll have to get a chamber rod anyway.
