As stated, chamber conditions really play the huge role if Steel coated ammo is going to run in a barrel or not.
Some civilian chambers are reamed on the tighter cross wall sides (to promote better accuracy), and not in the smoothest of conditions to begin with as well. In time the chamber will self polish out through live firing and cleanings, and even loosen up on the cross wall dimensions too.
So in a barrel as such, CLP lubing on the wetter side will allow the Carrier and bolt to unlock better (lube on the back side, and not in the chamber), as well as just adding a #60 O ring (about a dime at any hardware store) to add tension to the extractor spring to make sure that the case rim is not dropped on the harder extraction pull as the chamber does start to foul out. But even here, you are still flirting with the possibilities of a spent case being chamber bound stuck, and best to keep a single piece cleaning rod in your bag with brass jig if you need to clean a stuck case (mortar with charging handle pull to get the B/C locked back on the catch to begin with, then rod down the muzzle against the web of the case, a hard palm blow to the cleaning rod handle to dislodge the spent case from the chamber, then break out a chamber brush to give the chamber a quick cleaning/Relube the B/C before containing on to shoot more).
