Well not really a problem.  It seems that my brass is hitting the bolt assist housing on the way out.  This is putting a little dink in the brass.  will the brass be safe to reload.  shooting factory ammo now.  FedAE223 and xm193.  Is this normal?  Thx

Brass deflector getting hit by brass upon ejection of fired case= normal.
If your upper doesn't have brass deflector, but still has forward assist, brass is going to eject rearward and strike portions of the forward assist= normal.

During the reloading process, dents and divots will be ironed out of the brass while it is being re-sized.
