So how would one remove a stacked castle nut?

This ... just took a little extra elbow grease then "pop" she went when I took mine off my 6920 to put a side sling end plate on it.

Kind of a waste since you have the key metal peen into the side spines of the bolt, and only removal torque is going to resolve that.
