How common, normal, dangerous is it for the FP to lightly strike the primer when chambering a round?

This is happening when you release the bolt (by the bolt catch) and chamber a fresh round.  There is a small dimple in the center of the primer.

Free floating FP???  Like a M14 or Garand??

Just like the M1 and M14 free floating firing pin and it is totally normal.

Reloads must be sized properly and have FULLY seated primers or out battery ignition is what your flittering with.   Which can be very bad.

Yep, floating firing pin and the light strikes are very normal.

Thanks, thats what I believed.  

Anyone know where I could find any technical info from a manufacturer on this subject?  Its job related and I need some documentation for this.
