For the most part, when I get any FCG, I dry fit the trigger pin threw the works (trigger and disco/spring), and work the lubed parts a few times to make sure that the disco moves freely in the trigger slot, and that the pin will spin in the trigger pin channel (no end of channel burs). From there, I will look at the sears (disco, trigger, hammer) and if needed take a light stone to the edges to knock off any milling burs left from production. Last step is to install the trigger, and make sure that the trigger pin channel ends have room in the receiver cavity, and are not binding on the sides (inner cavity).
Before heading out to the range, pull the FCG one more time, check it out for burs/clearances (read clean them up if needed), and make sure to lube all the parts before reinstalling.
