Went to the range and shot a few hundred rounds the other day. When I broke it down for cleaning I noticed one of the gas rings was broken. It snapped off a pretty good piece. Could this be a sign of an underlying problem? I was shooting a little bit of everything. Black hills, WWB, Wolf, Academy cheap stuff. The rifle never FTF of FTL. Any ideas???

I would have to write this off as shit happens. An AR/M16 can run along  just fine on one ring. Replace all of them at one time. Get yourself a quality set from Bushie , RRA, or Colt , .You get the picture. Put quality parts in your rifle. Hope she feels better soon, WarDawg
