Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Fail to cycle rounds

Newly acquired RRA ar 15 16 in barrel.  Fires first (manually charged) round but doesnt extract nor cycle in the second round.  Bolt stays closed and has to be manually charged to fires second round.  Discovered the gas tube was installed upside down.  would this be the cause of this problem.
