Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - weak hammer hits...

Once in a while i get a weak hammer strike on to the primer and the gun doesnt fire. It has happened with BHs, winchester andremington ammo. Any ideas?
It may happen when I shoot under heavy rapid fireing....Maybe once in every 30-40 rounds,,,
The rifle has a carbine collapsable stock setup and its  a new one from RRA...
It has happened clean or dirty.

Check to see if the hammer spring is correctly installed.
