Is there a do it yourselfer techique to minimize the inital takeup or slack it the stock trigger?
During the takeup part of the pull the hammer actually moves.
What typically causes this.

Can it be minimized without new parts.

After the initial takeup the remaining pull is fairly crisp and manageable.

I have been considering the 15 minute trigger job but have yet to do it.

Yes, the hammer is moving downward.  By design huh? Weird!

Is this what is refered to as a 2 stage trigger.
Sorry if this Q is dumb...I just don't know much about the AR yet.

I learning though!
