i have a new bushy 16 no ban m4. I traded a knife for a new knights arm. ras with vertical handle. the system went on no problems. BUT the bottom half seems to be alittle loose, is this normal? and is there any remedy to make it more tight? the top is tight as a drum. thanks for the info.

P.S. if your wondering what kind of knife i traded it was a sog baby seal. hey the guy had 2 brand new knight sytems and one rifle. no need for 2 rails and he liked my knife.

With the RAS on the gun, take a brass punch and lightly dimple the bottom of the front hand guard cap on the edge to bend it inward some. Some handguard caps seem to be a little oversized compared to others. Its a temporary solution, especially if you are doing squirely stuff like muzzle strikes with a verticle foregrip.

You may have to do it again if your lower rail sees a lot of heavy duty torquing.

thanks for the idea, i was just curious as this is my first RAS. It dont really bother me and its not enough to effect my shooting. I guess i just expected alittle more from knights i guess. im picky.

Honestly, its not variations in the RAS, its variations in the size of the front handguard cap from different manufacturers.

Knights no doubt builds their stuff to fit Colts and FNs, because thats what they'll be going on.

Not starting a Colt war by saying they make BETTER front end caps, just smaller inner diameter apparently.
