And now my takedown pin comes completely off the lower. I didn't notice anything abnormal while I was shooting, and didn't find anything in the lower reciver while cleaning it either. What parts am I missing, so I can try to find replacements?

BTw, I've had my AR for a little over a year, but this is the first time anything like this has happened, so I don't have a clue!

Thanks,
Dan

Thanks, I believe I see it.  Looking at the lower assembly guide, the detent pin goes into the lower and then the spring, correct?

Also, does anyone have a suggestion for a good list of small parts to keep on hand? I'd hate to order a dollar worth of parts and then pay 5 bucks for shipping! I'd like to kind of make ot worth my while.

Thanks again guys,
Dan
