I have a RRA tactical entry w/ 16'' barrel, Rifle shoots 6'' to the right at 100yds and about 12'' high at the same distance. The front sight is cranked up almost as high as it will go and the rear sight is bottomed out.When the windage is brought over almost all the way to the left it starts to bring the point of impact toward the center, this cant be right. Also the rifle double feeds with the last 2 or 3 rnds left in the mag.Tried 2 different mags with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.......Thanks

Does it group to that same spot continuously?

Jobu, Best bet is to call and get a return authorization number, write down exactly what you are seeing and as much info as possible, (load, conditions, results, etc)

There is a mismatch between your carry handle/ flattop and the FSB. That is where the EL error comes from. Did the carry handle come with the rifle?

Tweak,

the carry handle was ordered as a option to the tactical entry version from RRA,so it was not part of the original gun.

The W error is probably just a mis installed (rotated slightly) barrel.

A double feed is when two LIVE rounds leave the mag at the same time. Is this what you're seeing? Are you using USGI mags?

I do not know if the mags are USGI, how can you tell? one is marked fn mfg inc. and the other Okay indust. the double feed occurs with the last 2 or 3 rnds in the mags.

If the floor plates are to be trusted they're most likely USGI.

You are saying that two live rounds leave the mag at once?

yes, bolt will not close 2 rounds in the mouth of the chamber

2F is almost ALWAYS bad magazines. In some rare cases when the rifle is over functioning (too much gas, too little spring) the impact of the bolt carrier at the end of the recoil stroke can jar the last remaining rounds from the magazine.

Which direction does the brass eject?

Does the FN mag have a steel body? HINT: magnets don't stick to aluminum.

What ammo are you using?
