Hello I trying to remove the buttstock and iam unable to losen the top screw on the under buttpad any idea all Ian doing is striping the screw

I'm having the same problem!!  What does a concave ground screwdriver look like?  What is the proper size screwdriver for the two screws on the end of the butstock?  Thank You!!

It is also called a hollow ground screwdriver.  The shape is very different than a "craftsman" screwdriver.  It looks like a round rod/shaft that has two sides of the tip milled to form the blade.  The tip has no taper (face or sides) and it grips the bottom of the slot where the screw is the strongest.  Brownells and other gunsmith suppliers sell them.

I don't know what number bit is the right one for the stock.

Thanks everyone for the help.  I ended up buying a 3/8 x 8 slotted screw driver ($3.00) from Home Depot and it worked fine.  The screw driver I was using was too small.
