I go for my Colt Armorer recertification next week. Anyone remember what 4 fire-control malfs their instructor inflicted upon them?

Please? The teacher 3 years ago was unashamedly sadistic. Any help would be appreciated, I am now THE unit armorer since they fired another guy for failing to certify at H&K!

Can't say about colt but for the military it was
Failure to feed no round in battery
Failure to eject round still in battery
Failure to fire with audible click
Failure to of semi auto no click when trigger is relesed.

hope this helps, e-mail me if you need more

I probably wasn't clear on this. For Colt Armorer Cert., Phase 3 of the test is to diagnose 4 rifles the Instructor has buggered up. Anyway, this class had a lot of first-timers so the problems were very easy.

1)Hammer spring not retaining trigger pin.
2)Hammer spring installed incorrectly.
3)Auto sear installed incorrectly.
4) Disconnector spring weak\out of spec.

Cake and pie!

I'm good for another 3 years!
