not too smart of me but this is what i did.
i had a forward grip i picked up at the Lauer store and finally got my SIR.  the grip was super tight...so i took the rail off and started tapping the grip on with a rubber mallet, i figured i wasn't planning to take it off so who cares if it's tight...problem is i pushed the grip up to the spring loaded screw and now the screw can't go back in the hole..and the grip is stuck.

options?

i plan on padding the hell out of everything in a vise and tapping the rail back out.

padded everything in a vise and it tapped out far enough to screw in.

what sucks is that it fit the A3 upper rail perfectly (and somewhat loosely) but the ARMS rails were really tight.
