The Colt gas tube pins I have used have always been tapered.

Hole in FSB and gas tube are both spec'd at .078" DIA + .003".

I'm new to this building retro stuff and didn't realize that this pin comes in a tapered style. Using those dimensions of .081/.312, the ones I have should work. But man they sure seem big to these old man eyes. Thanks gentlemen!
