What are you wanting to do with It? If you want precision, Larue Stealth or BA SPR 18". If you want general purpose in a 18, than it's tough to beat the 18" LaRue Tar barrel. For AR games, than the 17.7 BA 3-gun. My precision 18" SPR has the Larue Stealth. My general purpose 18" has the Larue Tar barrel and my 3 gun rifle has the BA 17.7". All are sub MOA with different loads.

I have well north of a dozen rifles with BA barrels on them from a 7.5 to an 18in and have no complaints, if you can't get BA, then buy Faxon, this is not rocket science.

I am really leaning toward the BA fluted SPR.

AR Performance 3gun barrel or a Lothar Walther from Integrity Arms will be more accurate than the BA and have a better gas system, rifling, and steel than the Larue. I'd highly recommend either, especially the LW.
