What is the difference between a mil spec and a commercial buffer tube for a sliding stock ?
Are Magpul MOE sliding 6-position stocks mil spec or commercial, or do they make both ?

Thanks !

The sizing is different, as well as the threads. With a Mil-Spec tube, the threads are wider than the tube. On a commercial tube, the threads are the same width as the tube itself. Most times a commercial buffer tube will be angled in the back, but that is not always the case.

Magpul makes both commercial and Mil-spec stocks. So make sure to get the right one for your application.
