Anyone try Aero Precision CMV line of barrels?  They seem to have very similar specs as Sionic barrels, except that Sionics say they use 11595E spec steel.  I heard Sionics produce decent barrels that can produce 1-1.5 MOA.

What are AP's Quality? What kind of precision can I expect? 11595E specs? Any other details?  Are they dimpled for LP gasblocks?

Or can anyone recommend a decent 10.5" at <$300 price.  I would consider DD CHF 10.3", but it is going on my registered 10.5 SBR.  I currently do not want to change that nor do I want to risk not being in compliance with any NFA regulations.

I have become a fan of melonite.  I would also need dimples for an LP gas block and would like a govt profile barrel.

I am running a Aero Precision 10.5 on my pistol build and have had no problems with it. As far as precision its a 10.5 barrel your not going to be hitting flys at 500 yds with it. They do not come with dimples for the gb, but most gun shops can dimple it. I have about 400 rds through it and have had no problems, so I'd say its G2G

For a $170 barrel I do not expect sub MOA, but wanted to get an idea of what it would be capable of doing.

My sample of 1 Aero 10.5" has performed great, no hic-ups to date and seems to be very accurate although I've only shot irons with it so far but that is about to change as an optic is in the near future.  At this point I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I recall paying $140 for mine at the time.

Have one, it works great. The new barrels also come dimpled for set screw gas blocks. Accuracy with M193 is the same as my BCM

I'm happy with mine.

100% reliable

I've got about 500 rounds thru it so far

I have one of their 8" 300 barrels.  It shoots well enough and runs perfectly.

What kind of accuracy are you guys getting out of your Aero barrels?  I originally was going to go with CHF, but most of the CHF are 11.5" barrels, so it would run me an extra $65 to get it cut and re threaded.

I know I definitely want to try Aero's 300bo 8.5" barrel, but I am really curious to how well their 5.56 barrels do.
