I just competed my 300 blackout build and was going to load some ammo to try it out.  I made up a dummy rd to chamber it to make sure I wasn't getting any bullet set back and make sure there were no other issues.
I chambered it 4 or 5 times but I'm seeing these scratches.

Has anybody seen this before

Get a chamber brush and clean your locking lugs and chamber really well.  Looks to me like there are metal shavings in there.

Thanks I cleaned the chamber and locking lugs up and tried to chamber another round and it was a huge improvement,
you can still see some scratches but they are minor.  I think it will work itself out after shooting a few hundred rds through
it and cleaning it again. Thanks again
