I've been buying stuff for the last year or two for a 'budget build'. I'm looking to use good parts and just buy at the right time basically.

So I've got all the parts to complete the build except for a sling. I'm looking or a good low cost solution. This will be going on a 16" carbine. It will have a magpul moe handguard and collapsible magpul moe butt stock.

What are your sling suggestions?  Keep 'budget' build in mind.  I will also need a way to attach to rifle if it won't attach to what I've got for furniture.

Thanks

I recently bought one of these

Used a HK style mash hook for the front and a push lock swivel in the rear. Fits right in the Magpul CTR stock. These can also be attached with the infamous paracord to save another buck. I like it a lot, easy to adjust just as advertised.

I use Vtac MK2 quick adjust padded slings. They are less than $40 and work amazingly well.

Very similar to the sling posted above, both are based on the same design.

I'm not using a CTR so the push lock attachment won't be a option for me.

You can just use the sling mount slot in the stock and forgo any extra hardware.

You could always weave your own out of 550 cord.

Blue Force Gear - Factory Outlet Page

I swapped my Magpul MS3 for Blue Force Gear Vickers. I got 2 BFG slings for $22.50 each off this page with free shipping. They are sold out now, but might be worth checking back.

BlackHawk Machine Gun Sling. Super comfy and adaptable. Only bad part is plastic buckles but they're fairly tough.

Make your own out of some Paracord, 1&1/4" poly webbing, and some hardware...
