Is there a trick to install the buffer tube perfectly straight?

The ring will align it straight. The tube has a groove in the bottom that the ring will index into and the ring will also index with a dent in the lower.

The groove in the buffer tube is wider then the nub in the lock plate, so there is still a bit of wiggle room. I usually have to try tighten it a couple time to get it perfect.
