Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gas Block Information

I am making my own gas block and need to confirm the location of the gas tube hole in relation to the barrel bore, offset.  Does anyone have the offset dimension for the gas tube hole in the gas block for a .75" barrel?  I am measuring it to be .5" from center of barrel but I want to check with the experts...
