well i am not familiar with the particular build/parts you cite , however THERE SHOULD BE NO PLAY in the barrel of course.
seems like your parts are not compatible ––you should contact the source for these different parts and ask about proper fitment / application. |

Strange - with the barrel installed, it should not be bottoming out on the receiver at all...even with 80 ft/lbs of torque on it. Can you post a pic? Sounds like it is out of spec (or (less chance) the upper receiver is).

On a take off old A1 barrel I get .992 from the rear of the extension to the ring's face, and .130 for the ring thickness.
I thought I had a print, but I must have filed it in a secret place... |
