Plumbers torches can be found at your local hardware store, usually for less than $20, get the propane one (the MAPP and other gases can burn hot enough to make easier to damage the metal). It is a great tool to have, any stuck bolts on my cars, just fire it up and heat for 5 minutes, and the bolts come off. Heat evenly, NOT just one spot, move the torch around the circumference as you heat to get evenly heated. Try to concentrate the heat on the receiver portion, avoiding the tube, you want the receiver to expand more than the tube.
It it is lots of loctite that is your problem, then you probably want to get the threads as hot as possible without doing damage, to burn out and weaken the loctite, heat tube and receiver well and even, let it cool then heat up just the receiver portion to get it to expand more than the tube.
