I am building my first AR.

I have a S&W lower with a Stag Lower Parts kit installed.

After I got the parts kit installed I noticed that the trigger pull is very slight. Where trigger travels only about 1/8 of an inch before it engages the hammer.

Is this normal?

You should expect 4.5-9 lbs pull on standard trigger. Do the function test if OK than you GTO.

Don't dry fire allowing hammer fall on bolt stop without the upper installed. It will brake.
