Ok, so precision build is probably overstating it, but I am looking for a nice target-rifle to compliment my carbine.  I'm thinking 18" barrel or so, rifle-length rails, nice high-power scope, etc.  I know a lot of folks like the Magpul PRS, but it looks so big and clunky.  I thought maybe the Vltor E-mod might be a decent alternative.

Any thoughts on the Emod, or other stocks I should consider?

Thanks!

Hhmm...

I use a PRS on one precision build and a VLTOR Clubby on another.

To be perfectly honest, I don't even use the cheek riser adjustment on the PRS.

If you like the cheek weld, etc on the VLTOR, it's not a bad choice. The E-Mod is pretty sweet.

I will say this about the PRs: If you have a heavy bbl to counterbalance, the PRS works wonders...

My vote is for the PRS.  I really like mine.

The PRS just seems to be big, and expensive for what it offers.

To be honest, I have found my UBR to be quite at home on an SPR type rig (18" heavy barrel).
