I'm gonna post this one here because it's the only one where I put together both the upper and lower myself. 733-ish pistol:
 Brownells "blem" black A1 lower (the blem is the right side selector markings), RRA LPK, SB15 brace (I've had this so long, it was the only brace on the market at the time ), KAK tube and spacers, MOE-K2 grip. DPMS C7 upper/teardrop FA/front & rear sights, Brownells BCG, VLTOR charging handle, Doublestar 11.5" 1:9 barrel & FH, gun-show 7-hole handguards. I have another lower, identical except for Brownells 2-position buffer tube and M&A CAR stock, that will someday be SBR'd for this upper. Right now it's got my Wolf A1 upper on it until I can build something out for that. Waiting for the T91 Tactical stock/buffer tube package to come back in stock... thinking I'm going to build it on an NDS-1815 lower just for grins and giggles... Not sure I'm ever gonna build an upper again. I wanted to do it once, just to say I did, but damn, it's soooooo much easier--not to mention faster--to pay JT at Retro Arms to do it.

I did the paint job. Third time painting an AR. It's krylon fusion matte black, antique gray, matte sweet fig, and frog tape from Lowe's. At first I set out to make Swedish splinter camo with different colors, but I've never painted it before so it didn't turn out quite how I wanted.  Just finished this one up. Was supposed to be a cheap build but spent a little on some stuff. First non 5.56 AR and first rattle can rifle. Built it as a light weight hunting rig. the Romeo5 will be swapped to a Leupold VX3HD 3.5-10 when it arrives. Also have a Dead Air Nomad Ti for it when ATF allows me to have it. Faxon Gunner 6.5 Gendel barrel Faxon 6.5 Grendel bolt Odin Works O2 15" handguard Rearden Plan B compatible flash hider device CMC trigger KNS pins BCM stock, buffer, charging handle and so on Cheap ass PSA lower and a rattle can |

My mama told me simple is as simple does.
 A2 stock. Cheap MidwayUSA lower parts kit, caught it on sale. Samson rear sight. BCA Billet carbine upper assembly, they were out of the cheaper standard upper. Colt 20 rnd mag from the late 1960's Threw it together yesterday. Edit: Thinking of going with a carry handle instead of the Samson rear sight. |

 I like OD. This one started out as a standard Stag M4 upper and lower configuration and I’ve swapped just about everything including the barrel. I posted it a few years ago when I painted it in a Kryptek pattern. |

Aero Precision upper, lower, and BCG. Rare Breed FRT-15 trigger (let's see if its any good) Gray SBA3 with gray Splitfix 12.3" Ballistics Advantage Hanson barrel 12" Honey Badger rail BCM grip and KAG Streamlight Protac light Aimpoint T2 Vortex 3x magnifier Magpul popups Dead Air Sandman S The barrel and rail combo are perfect. Suppressor even fits inside if you go shorter. Thinking I'm going to build another upper with the same parts but with an 8" 300 BLK barrel to play around with it.     |

So this started out as a "hey I have a lower and a few detents, what should I do with them" build. Then ammo prices got insane and 7.62 x 39 seemed like a good choice. So this one has been a slow burn over the last 8 months or so.
Lower Spike's Tactical Crusader - I really like the closed trigger guard and something ironic about building an AR using this lower that shoots the caliber of choice of some of our friends around the globe Ergo Grip Radian 45 Degree Safety Teflon coated milspec trigger (LaRue MBT 2S is on order.) H2 Buffer Magpul MOE SL stock BAD Mag Release Seekins Bolt Release BCM QD End Plate Upper Aero Stripped Upper RCA 7.62 BCG - Nitride Radian Raptor Charging Handle MI Combat 14" M-Lock Rail DEZ Arms 16" HBAR Barrell - 1:10 Twist, CLGS, Straight Fluted, .750 Gas Block (Dimpled the barrel using a KAK dimple jig) Spike's Gas Block Bootleg Gas Tube - Nitride KAK .30 Cal Muzzle Break Optic - Vortex Spitfire HD Gen 2 - 3x So far only taken to the indoor range last weekend for a function check and optic zero at 25 yards using Tula 124 gr steel case. Ejects at 3:00, bolt holds open on last round, and only had one failure to fire in 100 rounds. Primer looked to be recessed so I am chalking it up as an ammo issue. Initial impressions are this is a fun gun. Maybe not a tack driver (sub inch at 25 yards with steel case so who knows what it will do with decent ammo at 100?) but certainly better than most AKs chambered in the same caliber. Next weekend we go to the outdoor range and try and stretch its legs to see how it does

This rifle was a fun assembly (As in easiest ever.) and a pleasure to shoot. The plan came together nicer than usual. I intended to put an LPVO on top but I had such a good time shooting with the SIG MCX sights I may just leave things as they are.
