I had problems with my first build because the take down pin detent hole was either fouled or not cut deep enough.  It was suggested that I clean the hole out with a drill bit instead of cutting a few turns off the spring.

What size is the hole?

According to the blueprint I have, it should be .093 +/- .004

If my math is not wrong that would mean about 3/32".

Any idea of the drill number?

I believe that a #42 drill bit should work.  It is .0935
