I am looking at a barrel in the EE and have a question.  Will a Professional Ordinance Carbon 15 barrel fit any upper, or is is in some way proprietary?

The flash hider on the barrel mounts with a proprietary ball detent like a QD air chuck, but I’m pretty sure that the barrel extension and gas block area are standard.
You would need to have the muzzle threaded if you weren’t going to use their flash hider (that is if the diameter is big enough to thread).
