RRA NM stainless steel barrel is "air-guaged".
What does that mean?
Does it imply anything regarding how the rifling is done?

Air gauging is a way of checking the consistency of the bore.   Air leaking past a plug in the bore is measured as the plug is pulled down the length.  If the leakage is almost the same the whole way down the bore  the barrel has a very consistent diameter.
I don't know how the leakage rates  translate to irregularities .
