I don't want to get the thread to far off topic... but can you legally put a lower marked "Pistol Only" on a rifle.

The obvious would tell me no, but I've never heard an exact answer.

Superior Arms makes them.
The best lower for the money if you ask me.

You can built it in to a rifle but you will need to build it the very first time as a pistol and take pictures of it with a local news paper in the back ground to verify the date. Then you can build it in to a rifle and then later back to a pistol if you want .
BUT if you build it as a rifle the first time then it can never be rebuilt as a pistol ever.

I am sure that was clear as mud !!!!!!!!!

Anvil Arms all the way....
I bought 2 matching image lowers (one marked pistol) from Anvil Arms -

Jon did a most outstanding job.

I cannot give this guy enough kudos.
He laser engraved "registered pistol" on the side, plus the image or pretty much anything you want if requested.

These were bought with parts kit installed and the ACE buffer kit for the pistol he sold/installed also.

Seriously, I could not be more impressed or satisfied with the quality/price.

Its got an RRA pistol upper with YHM rail, FH, front and rear sights.
