I currently have a YHM customizable tube FFHG for my 24" AR build. I was thinking about selling my stock handguards but they look kind of retro.

I was thinking about swapping it over for the DCM FFHG that uses the stock handguards and was wondering if this was worth doing.

How well does the DCM FFHG vent/cool the barrel? Will it take my Harris Bi-pod with the standard Harris stud adapter?

One of the biggest problems with the YHM is that it gets HOT under the sun and under sustained firing.
