Does anyone make a kit for an AR in .45 ACP?

Oly makes the only factory upper receiver in .45. I was making custom .45 uppers but had to close down shop due to an overseas job.

Oly does not have any magazines that fit in a standard AR15 lower. Oly also has been out of .45 barrels for some 3 months. The bolt, bolt carrier, ejector, and barrel extension are Oly specific parts. Kurt at KKF also makes a Oly type barrel extension.

Cav Arms makes a polymer lower that can use a grease gun mag fo a .45 conversion but it requires the use of a heavy Slash brand buffer and a Hahn brand magwell filler block.

CNCGuns.com in conjuction with Khalan Weaponry is producing the AR45 lower that uses unmodified grease gun mags and does not need a filler block or heavy buffer.

The BAZ45 also uses grease gun mags.

You can contact arfcomer "eisman" who makes the BAZ45. He can build you a custom .45 upper receiver.

Kurt at KKF is ramping up to build .45 barrels and would be the go to guy for a true custom set up as he is the altyernate barrel source.

I had a complete .45 conversion guide under this section but it has been deleted by someone.

For some really stupid reason there seems to be a lot of .45 hate'in at this website.
I am building on one of the CNC grease gun lowers right now.
I feel like I got lucky when I found a thread here that turned me on to it.

Future plans for the AR45 lower call for a forging which will lower the cost dramatically.

The AR45 lower can be expanded to include the grease gun mag, the Reising mag, the Thompson mag, the CZ26 mag, the Glock .45 mag, the HK UMP mag.

These mags with minor tweaking can accomodate .45 ACP, .45 Super, .40 S&W, .40 Super, .50 AE, .50 GI, 10mm, 7.62x25, 9x23.

If anyone remembers the Fuller Index, it is based on real world shootings and show the .45 statistically to be a better fight stopper than smaller calibers and now we are seeing the availability of platforms that allow greater use of the .45 ACP round.

What mags would the 10mm work with in the AR45 lower?

Greasegun Magazines if you squeeze the feedlips slightly.
There was a thread here a while ago.
This is one things I am going to try when I get my AR45 lower.

if say cmmg, rock river made a 45acp ar15 i think it would be a hot seller look at any other 45acp project, people in this country love the round and for good reason. 45acp is the most popular handgun round until rap music made 9mm popular. i for one know at least 7 guys that would buy a factory, or a kit un if it was offered

I had to recreate it as the original is not even in the archives.
