I am going to build my first SBR on an Ameetec lower. I have a Bushy and an RRA, and the Ameetec is my favorite. I picked it up for $200 complete during the sale, which I think is still going on.

The price is very good, the quality is constantly high, they charge for them when you order and it can take a long to ridiculously long time to get it shipped.  This is just a guess, but I think they take orders and cash until they hit some number (like 300 lowers) and then they have them made in a large run. YMMV

Is anyone here from AZ?  I was going to go down there and see what they have, but first I don't know how long I will have to wait to get the thing, and second, I don't know if they sell to the public or not...or if they only ship to FFLs even for instate purchases.

Bought a complete lower and later a complete upper from AMEETEC.  $654 after all fees and shipping.  Very pleased with it so far and my $200 check has been cashed by the ATF so sometime soon (I hope) this little sweety will be losing some weight.  I'll leave you with one last pic, if you squint real hard you can almost imagine the 11 3/8" barrel.

I think Ameetec lower are good as any, used one for my first build, matched up with my Bushmaster upper.

My latest build, I used a Mega Gator lower, to me their slightly better.

Why do you say that? I just bought 3 stripped lowers from them a week ago so unless they just sold out again, now's the time to buy them.

airgunner,

how much were the stripped lowers?  their website doesn't list them as in stock nor do they offer a price.  Thanks.  Also, Warren and the crew have said they are taking a month off for R&R.

thats great they had a surplus when you ordered them, but a bunch of people such as myself spent 6 months waiting, they took our money immediately, and very little explanation was given until they just showed up at my FFL one day. Besides, I found LRB right near my house. Thats all I could ask for
