Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Chrome Lined & Stainless Steel Barrels

I understand that Stainless Steel Barrels have a shorter lifespan then the Chrome Lined Barrels. Does anyone have a rough idea of bullet count? I mean, are the SS barrels junk after say 10,000 rounds? or is it 100,000 rounds?

Even a rough estimate would be nice to know. I'm refering to the DPMS 16" Bull Barrel on this DPMS Bull Sweet 16 rifle
