I've already built and altered my first AR. Now my buddy wants me to help him with his first build. The thing is, he hasn't entered the 21st century (he doesn't surf the net.)

Who is the go to company for manufacturing quality mil-spec kits?

RRA?

Stag?

DPMS?

Bushmaster?

And while we're at it, who sells the parts for cheap?

Yeah, I know, I should research this myself, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Del-Ton, they've got cheap kits, and pretty customizable, also model1sales.com, or J&T Distributing, all very good prices on kits. lowers, go with stag arms or a doublestar lower, they're cheaper than a RRA and just as good.

i voted for the RRA, i wouldn't have any hesitation with Bushmaster or DPMS either.  all in all they make quality units.

only a couple minor LPK issues with the DPMS and no issues with RRA or Bushy.
