Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 6.8mm SPC Flash Suppressor

I am in  the process of putting together a AR carbine, but uisng the 6.8mm SPC round. My question is, are there special flash supressors made for this round? Can I use the standard flash supressors that are on 5.56/.223 AR's? Or are there specially machined flash supressors that are made specifically for the 6.8mm SPC round? I have not been able to locate too much information on this topic.

The size of the bullet is different so MFGs purposely put different threading on the 6.8 vs. the 556.  The Vortex & MSTN QC brake are the 2 most comon choices.  I know the Phoenix also makes one for the AR10 which should fit the 6.8 barrels
