Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR-15 books / guides

I am going to build an AR-15 soon and I want to do some learning before I start.  I am in need of a good book or guide, something with complete instructions to build from all parts, tear down,  guageing etc. with tons of pictures and diagrams and must cover all types of the AR-15 family (m4 types. CAR types, and standard rifles) something with plenty of pages.

any sugestions?

All the information I needed for my first attempt at a build was found at AR15.com's Information site.

Not only does it have plenty of guides, but it offers reviews, ISBN's, and brief synopsis of recommended books for further reading.
