I'm replacing the standard front sight assembly with a flip down sight.  This is on a standard m4 barrel.
I've removed the pins and the gas tube (with its roll pin) but the sight assembly doesn't want to budge.
I've tried bumping with a rubber mallet but no go.  Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks in advance.

two pins and the gas tube.

probably carbon buildup holding it on there or it was park'ed over. hit it sideways to break it loose.
