Does anyone know how the AK brakes were permanantly attached? Is it the same as the mini y comps? I believe the barrel is threaded underneath as there is a washer. I was gonna get the dremel out and start working on it and looking for a pin, but unlike the Y comp I did it is not easily seen just by looking at it. Thanks in advance.

I do have a lathe that I can use to turn the break down until it is thin enough to just twist off but that is last resort for now.
