The comment was made in the other thread that legal permission could not be gained from the company, and that it wasn't going to be done due to the legal aspects.  There were a lot of Photoshop creations, but as far as I know, the Umbrella Corporation and the Punisher are still both verboten.  

You could always IM him and double check, its possible he recently got approval.
