Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Gunsmith degree?

Where is the best place to get a online or by mail gunsmith degree?  I don't have any tech schools close to me that offer a course, so I figured this would be a good place to ask.  I've been looking at the American Gunsmithing Institute in the SG News, but I just wanted to make sure before I waste any money.

It is the best mail order gunsmithing course available.  You can supplement your studies by taking machining and welding courses at your local college and by taking some of the NRA short courses offered during the summer.  Don't forget to make friends with a local gunsmith and see if he won't agree to let you hang arround.
