I will cost you around $45 to have the barrel thread on a lathe. There are more than a few of the guys over in the industry forum that can do it. On the other hand, the Dyno kit will run you around $80 with the handle and the guide.
Bottom line is to have it lathe thread. |

the barrel has to be .5 dia before the die would be able to work and even then its not 100% sure to be true with the bore.

$40 with return shipping if you send me a barrel.
I do it the right way, on a lathe against a live center. The crown gets re-cut when I am done as well. Several people have seen improved accuracy from the crown being touched up. |

Turn-around time is a few days. $40 is if YOU pull the barrel I can tear down and rebuild the upper for you too, but that adds to the cost. If you sent a complete upper, it's $85 with return shipping. Details on all my shop services |

Randall cut my barrel and threaded it and I had it back in a week and it looked great.

I'd go with Randall or ADCO. Both have great reputations, turn around times and fast return shipping.
