Hello,

Newb question for you all: Any special trick installing a telestock onto a receiver? I screwed up a takedown pin spring installing it yesterday. And is anyone not running a buffer detent? I damn near lost it as well atempting to fix the first problem.

Thanks,

Jason

Screw the buffer tube in so that it holds down the edge of the detent like this

then push the rear plate into place and hold it there while you hand tighten the castle nut. then tighten to spec. I like the German way of doing this Good~n~tight  but don't over do it.

hope it helps

Did you bend the spring? I would just try to staighten it out and put it back in,hold the plate down while you thread the castle nut. I would not run it without the detent in.

ETA I'll get it put on when I receive the new spring from John at North West Tactical. For my first AR/Build John has been very helpfull in recommendations and answering my questions. Highly recommended.
