I normally face the barrel to an 11 deg. target crown, i then put a 45 deg. crown on the rifling using a specially ground carbide cutter. When i crown the rifling i  pull the cutter out from the bore so as not to push a burr into the barrel.   Dont just  put the barrel in the chuck and start cutting. Take the time to indicate the barrel so there is NO runout. For best results use a 4- jaw chuck. A barrels I.D. and O.D. are not always concentric so take your time and do it right, good luck  PATRIOT ARMORY 07 FFL
