How the heck is this thing attached?

There are no pins or set screws anywhere.  Is it epoxied on?

I need to remove it and am about to reach for a dremel to cut the dang thing off.  Any other thoughts?

No pins or setscrews, huh?  I'd bet it's on there with some type of sleeve retaining compound, like Loctite.  Heat it up with a MAPP or oxy/acetylene torch slowly and see if you can get it off.  I had a Bushmaster DCM/CMP barrel that had a FSB mounted with retaining compound.  It will melt with the right heat applied.

Just a little heat from a MAPP torch and a hammer whack and she came right off.

Thanks!
